All in all, they were excellent. Most people in the class were newbies in this area. It was their first podcast. I was impressed with many of them.  Here are my comments.

Really good information, not just on the game, but on the way YOU think.  Interesting.  I really liked the fact that you included information on both the

Luke McKinley’s podcast

What IS Monster?  It sounds like an inmate’s journal. Is this from a book or a movie?  Oh, I saw some info on the webpage. OK.  It was a lot short. I would have liked to hear more. How would you use this in a classroom?  I do like the idea of reading excerpts for students and  having them available online.

Celeste Alvarado’s podcast.

I would have liked to have some introduction to what you were reading. It was a really cool story and a bit scary!  I would like to know what this was from and who or what was holding Jeff’s hand!  Well delivered!  Thanks Celeste!

Andrea Blackburn’s podcast. 

Good introduction.  I liked the music.  Very funny story and should provide students a fun way to remember the Pythagorean theorem. I enjoyed it!  Good delivery.  I would have left the sound running a few more moments at the end as it didn’t’ leave much time for a good groan!  The bottom link on the wiki does not work properly. (The one with the headphones)  But the top one (The headline type) DOES work.  I think it is a problem with the linking in the hypertext.

Holly Sheffer’s podcast.  Favorite story time.  Bearhunt.  Great opening and dedication!  Marvelous sound effects!

That was great and I enjoyed the ending information and music. This was great! I would love to do something like this for my “grandkids to be” of the stories MY children loved for me to read to them when they were small and of the bedtime songs I would sing to them. You have given me some inspiration!

Josh’s podcast on Vygotsky’s Discussion

I see you have a list of podcasts available. I picked Vygotsky because I have an interest in ZPD.  Boy!  This thing could be edited, for sure. It’s a class gone amok in the beginning. Cut out the idle chatter that does not really set up the lecture, and get right to the heart of it, or you will lose many of your listeners. 

6 1/2 minutes into the podcast before Vygotsky was even mentioned.  I was really distressed with the content. Just not enough Vygotsky and lots of random stuff.  Are you recording all the lectures in this class and making them available for class members?  Or is this general stuff for everyone’s consumption?  Just curiousl I feel it needs an into and a wrapup.  Again, just my two cents.
